Universal Beijing Resort is the first Universal Studios theme park in China and the fifth globally, representing a massive investment in immersive entertainment. Spanning over 4 square kilometers with Phase I covering 159.57 hectares, the resort opened officially on September 20, 2021, after years of planning dating back to 2001. Kung Fu Panda Land of Awesomeness is the world's only Kung Fu Panda-themed area, entirely indoors with stunning Chinese aesthetics and the Dragon Warrior Journey boat ride. Other lands include Minion Land with its vibrant colors and family-friendly attractions, Jurassic World Isla Nublar featuring realistic dinosaur encounters, Hollywood showcasing filmmaking magic, and Future Water World with spectacular stunt shows.

Visitors consistently praise the park's immersive atmosphere and attention to detail - from the banana fart sound effects in Minion Land restrooms to the interactive wand experiences in Diagon Alley. The advanced ride technology, particularly the 4D/5D experiences, receives widespread acclaim for creating believable, thrilling adventures. However, the park's popularity creates significant challenges: queue times for popular attractions regularly exceed 1-2 hours during peak periods, and the high cost of food (average meal 80-150 CNY) and merchandise draws criticism.
