Beijing World Park (世界公园) is a large miniature-landmark park in southwestern Beijing. Replicas of pyramids, European palaces, the Eiffel Tower and other familiar buildings share the grounds. Visitors tend to recommend it for a leisurely family walk, photographs and introducing children to architecture from different countries, rather than as an essential Beijing sight.

The models’ condition is the main reservation. Reviews across several years, including 2026, describe faded paint, damaged details and uneven maintenance: some corners photograph well, while others show their age. Returning visitors also express affection for a childhood favourite. Recognising buildings with children makes more of the visit than expecting the finish of a new theme park. Allow 3–4 hours to explore, or half a day with play stops.

Admission is temporarily free from 12 July through the end of September 2026. Older complaints about expensive entrance tickets do not describe this promotion, but vehicle rentals and some children’s activities still cost extra. Recent summer visitors report larger crowds, heat and weekend queues in play areas. New food vendors have arrived, so older accounts of all catering being closed also need their date kept in mind. Bring water, sun protection and comfortable shoes.

Rules effective from 25 July 2026 require a same-day, real-name booking through the park’s official WeChat, 世界公园, on weekends and public holidays, with QR-code entry in the selected time slot. Ordinary weekdays do not require advance booking, but identity registration still applies. The notice explains Chinese identity cards without specifying the foreign-passport process: bring your original passport and contact the park beforehand on +86-10-83613681. Free admission does not mean unrestricted walk-in access.

The south gate is convenient from Exit A of Dabaotai (大葆台) on the Fangshan metro line. Select the correct gate when navigating, as other entrances can involve a longer walk. July–September hours are 10:00–21:00, with last entry at 20:30. Confirm performances and evening lighting for your date: visitors report changes to older parades and seasonal shows. A festival photograph does not establish a nightly programme.
