It's also much easier to find parking if you're driving, and whole cottages are available to rent for groups. A six-person house costs from 440 lari. Without a car or transfer it will be inconvenient — walking to the lifts along the road takes about an hour. There is no public transport in Gudauri. A taxi ride typically costs 10–20 lari for ten minutes; tourists often share rides to split the cost. Hotel transfers to the lifts usually cost 25 lari.
