Yichun is a mountainous city in northwestern Jiangxi Province, known as a center of Zen Buddhism and a major grain-producing region. It was the birthplace of the Jin-Dynasty poet Tao Yuanming and is surrounded by lush green hills, clear rivers and a mild climate.
