Bronzes, jade and porcelain share the museum with the history of Tianjin’s port and foreign concessions. Start with the collection highlights and city history galleries, allowing around three hours.

Collector Zhang Lianzhi covered this older villa with vessels, plates and mosaics made from ceramic fragments. Outside, the undulating fence and rooftop dragons draw attention; inside are decorated walls and antique furniture. Visitors disagree sharply about the value of paid entry.
