Jiaodong International Airport is Qingdao's main air gateway. It opened for flights in 2021 and today serves dozens of routes, making it the entry point for most visitors arriving by air.
From Moscow, Beijing Capital Airlines operates a direct flight several times a week; a one-way ticket costs roughly 20,000–25,000 rubles. There are also many connecting options via Beijing, Shanghai or Guangzhou at about the same price, which are worth comparing if the direct flight's days do not suit your schedule.
To get into the city, take the metro, which links the airport with the centre. Plan the transfer time into your first and last day, since the airport is a new facility outside the historic core.
