Overview
POPMART City Park is an immersive IP theme park created by the popular blind box brand Pop Mart, covering approximately 40,000 square meters in Beijing's Chaoyang District. The park is designed to deliver happiness and create 'little beauty' in daily life, providing visitors with environmental emotional value through a relaxing and healing experience.
Park Areas and Attractions
The park is divided into four major themed areas: Bubble Street, Forest Area, Castle Area, and Lakeside Area. Each zone offers unique photo spots, wonderful performances, amusement facilities, and festival-limited theme activities. Visitors receive a stamped passport upon entry, which guides them through a clear route for exploration and serves as a free token for one game. Additional games cost CNY 30 each with prizes including Labubu fans, keychains, and pillows.
Visitor Experience
Families and children particularly love the park's dreamy atmosphere and character interactions. The Labubu Adventure Forest features non-powered facilities that keep children entertained, while Molly Castle offers a magical experience with limited edition displays and performances. The park hosts various meet-and-greet sessions and shows throughout the day. However, visitors should expect crowds and long queues for popular activities, especially during weekends and holidays.
Dining and Shopping
The park includes a dessert shop, two IP-themed restaurants, and multiple souvenir stores offering exclusive park-limited products. Visitors can purchase their favorite dolls and blind box items. Food and beverage prices are noted to be on the higher side, but the quality and themed presentation add to the overall experience.
Practical Tips
Note that Google Maps may show an incorrect location - the park is actually located near the Solana Clothing store. The recommended visit duration is 0.5-1 day (approximately 4 hours for a thorough experience). The 'Wish Journey' experience takes visitors underground in the castle following Molly's story, though it can be noisy when crowded. Some areas may be under renovation, so check ahead if planning a visit.
